Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in NY State.
• Two+ years of nursing experience in medical-surgical, oncology, palliative care, or community/home care.
• At least one year of home health or hospice experience preferred.
• Previous hospice experience strongly valued.
• Valid NYS driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality palliative and end-of-life nursing care in patients' homes or care settings.
• Support patients and families with symptom management, education, and emotional guidance.
• Collaborate with social workers, spiritual care professionals, and physicians.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold hospice standards of practice.
• Travel throughout assigned service areas as needed.

Our client, a well-established hospice program in the Bronx, is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join its community-based care team. This role focuses on providing comfort-focused nursing care to patients with advanced illness, while supporting their families through all stages of hospice services. The organization has a long history of serving New York City and the surrounding region with a strong philosophy of dignity, empathy, and non-abandonment.

The annual base salary range is $95,000 to $110,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
