Job summary

Good Shepherd Hospice is seeking a dedicated RN to deliver End of Life care for patients at home in the Babylon, Copiague, Farmingdale, Levittown, Massapequa, Plainview, Syosset, Wyandanch, and surrounding areas. The role requires an active NY RN license and BLS, with one year of hands-on experience preferred.

Salary ranges from USD 100,000 to USD 130,000 per year, with benefits, tuition assistance, and a defined pension plan.

Qualifications

• Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of one year of recent hands-on experience.
• Basic Life Support Certification.
• Current NY State driver's license and own transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide End of Life care to hospice patients at home.
• Focus on symptom management and pain control for patients and families.
• Coordinate nursing care in home settings across Babylon, Copiage/Area coverage.

Overview

Good Shepherd Hospice is looking for passionate, dedicated RN to provide End of Life care to patients at home.

Our Hospice RN’s:

TheCommunity Hospice RNis responsible for providing nursing care to hospice patients, residents and/or family within their home setting, focusing on symptom management and pain control.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of hospice concepts, philosophy, policies and procedures. Prior experience in home care, hospice and/or oncology preferred.

This position covers Babylon, Copiague, Farmingdale, Levittown, Massapequa, Plainview, Syosset, Wyandanch and the surrounding areas.

Salary Range

USD $100,000.00 - USD $130,000.00 /Yr.
