Job summary

Heart to Heart Hospice in Indiana seeks an Area Sales Director to lead regional sales plans across Evansville, Jasper, Terre Haute, Bloomington, and Indianapolis. You will drive revenue growth, supervise community education representatives, and ensure compliant operations.

You bring 3-5 years of sales management, Bachelor’s degree, healthcare knowledge, exceptional communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to manage multi-site teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in sales management.
• 3–5 years of professional sales management experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Proven history of developing sales and growth with sales professionals.
• Knowledge of business management and Medicare Hospice Benefit preferred.
• Excellent observation, communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Understanding of healthcare business processes and systems.
• Experience changing organizational processes to implement standard methods and practices.
• Seasoned leader with multi-site management and strong sales/customer service acumen.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of regional and program-specific sales plans with ED and RVP Operations and RVP of Sales.
• Direct accountability for Revenue, ADC and Admissions Growth within assigned region.
• Train, coach, mentor and manage Executive Directors as Sales Managers for Community Education Representatives.
• Oversee recruitment, hiring, training and evaluation of Community Education Representatives.
• Interact with internal/external customers with integrity.
• Monitor Revenue, Admissions and ADC Growth through territory management.
• Participate in mandatory staff in-services and meetings.
• Ensure documentation and conduct business activities professionally and ethically.
