Job summary

St. Croix Hospice is seeking a Medical Review Nurse in Mendota Heights, MN to oversee monitoring, implementation and evaluation of quality programs ensuring regulatory compliance and high standards of patient care in home health settings.

This role requires an RN license with at least 2 years of nursing experience, strong knowledge of QAPI and infection control, and the ability to collaborate with the nursing team to ensure accurate documentation and safety across patient care.

Qualifications

• Must have a current RN license in state(s) of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• If driving: valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass DHS background check.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor QAPI activities.
• Monitor safety, risk management and infection control programs.
• Ensure documentation complies with regulatory standards.
• Review incident reports and identify trends.
• Support clinical staff and act as a resource.
• Review medical records for compliance.
• Assist with patient visits as needed.
