Job summary

Agape Hospice Care in Georgia is seeking a passionate PRN On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) to join our hospice care team. The RN will deliver skilled nursing care in patients' homes, coordinate with the interdisciplinary team, and support families with compassionate care.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited nursing program, holds an active RN license, CPR certification, and demonstrates strong interpersonal skills. Prior hospice or home health experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associate or bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Current state RN license and valid driver’s license.
• Two years’ RN experience in a clinical care setting; hospice or home health experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Proficient computer skills; Microsoft Office experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to provide effective support to the patient and family.
• Demonstrate skill in nursing practice and coping with family emotional stress.

Responsibilities

• Administer skilled nursing care for clients in their place of residence.
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team, patient/family, and referring agency.
• Provide patient and family education and support; document care plans and progress.
