DeliverCareRx, a national hospice pharmacy, is hiring experienced Pharmacy Technicians for our Mount Prospect, Illinois location. This full-time role focuses on processing, dispensing, and shipping prescription medications with emphasis on accurate data entry.

Key duties include entering prescriptions, assisting pharmacists, handling refills, managing faxes, inventory, packaging, and ensuring 100% accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current State Board of Pharmacy Technician license required.
• Training course or 1 year on-the-job training preferred.
• PTCB or ExCPT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter prescriptions and verify information.
• Provide daily support to pharmacists.
• Process refills and new prescriptions promptly.
• Manage communications with physicians via faxes.
• Package and ship orders and maintain accuracy.
• Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
• Restock workstations and maintain clean environment.
• Handle compounding not commercially available.
• Provide high quality customer service to patients and caregivers.
