Job summary
OnePoint Patient Care in Fort Myers, FL is hiring a Full Time Pharmacy Technician to join a closed-door hospice pharmacy team focused on meeting the pharmaceutical needs of hospice patients. You will work in a non-retail environment with a strong emphasis on quality care.
The schedule is 10am-6:00pm Monday-Friday with rotating weekends; Saturday & Sunday 12:00pm-4:00pm shifts may occur. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, HSAs/FSAs, tuition discounts, 401(k), PTO, shift differential,
Qualifications
- Pharmacy license as required by state.
- Experience in a pharmacy setting and medical terminology is preferred.
- Detail oriented, team player with good communication.
Responsibilities
- Fill prescription items and package medications for dispensing and delivery.
- Accurately label products with cautions and auxiliary labels.
- Prepare medications, including non-sterile compounding (liquids, powders, ointments).
- Enter patient and prescription data into computer systems to generate labels.
- Assist with inventory management and stock control, including removing expired meds.
