Qualifications

• Board-certified in Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
• Minimum of two years of hospice and palliative medicine clinical practice.
• Experience in education and scholarly activities: mentoring fellows, supervising clinically, curriculum development, or didactic teaching.
• Prior academic leadership roles or experience with ACGME programs is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation of the Hospice and Palliative Residency Program.
• Develop curriculum, policies, and procedures; maintain ACGME accreditation and state approval.
• Recruit residents and develop evaluation processes; participate in competency evaluations.
• Supervise residents; manage resident education within patient care context; evaluate and promote residents.
