The role blends clinical, administrative and teaching duties; requires board certification and substantial GME leadership experience, with strong administrative and communication skills; licensure in SC or eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Board-certified by the American Board (ABMS).
• ACGME requirements: 3+ years of clinical activity, 3+ years of GME admin experience and formal academic appointments, and scholarly activity in past 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Operate and oversee the Family Medicine residency program.
• Develop curriculum, policies, and procedures for the program.
• Maintain ACGME accreditation and state approval.
• Recruit residents and develop evaluation processes.
• Participate in competency evaluations of residents.
• Lead a strong faculty team with deep experience.
