Goshen Health is seeking a Board Certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Provider to serve as our Medical Director for Home Care and Hospice. This role is a 0.3 FTE position responsible for overseeing Hospice medical care, developing medical concepts related to Hospice, and serving as a consultant and advisor to the hospice program. The role is primarily administrative, with direct care mainly provided by employed Nurse Practitioners.

Candidate Requirements:

1. Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine and licensed in Indiana. (Board Certification in Hospice and Palliative Medicine is preferred.)
2. Availability for after-hours call to consult with hospice and home care nurses regarding patient care and symptom management. Call coverage is scheduled to not exceed one weekend per month and one week per month.
3. Knowledge of the regulatory and legal landscape of Hospice practices as it pertains to operations.
