Job summary

VIA Health Partners is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our hospice and palliative team in Greensboro, NC. You will deliver comprehensive medical care for patients with advanced life-limiting illnesses, coordinating with physicians and staff to ensure high-quality end-of-life care.

The role requires a Master’s in Nursing, NC NP certification, and ongoing board certification within 2 years. DEA and BLS are required; strong computer proficiency and clinical collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing, active NC RN license, and NP certification required.
• DEA and Basic Life Support required. Computer proficiency is required.
• Successful board certification in specialty within 2 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care to HPCCR patients with advanced life-threatening illnesses.
• Promote high quality end-of-life and hospice care, addressing physical, spiritual, and psychological pain.
• Prescribe and manage medications and therapies as appropriate within ethical guidelines.
• Educate patients and families on disease progression and goals of care; collaborate with Medical Director as needed.
• Submit billing and documentation according to policy and support policy development.
