Job summary

LRSolutions, LLC in Missouri is seeking a compassionate Hospice Nurse (LPN or RN) for 7on/7off on-call coverage in the East Kansas City Metro area, including Jackson County and portions of neighboring counties. Schedule: Mon-Thurs 5PM-8AM; Fri 5PM-Mon 8AM continuous.

The nurse will assess patient and family needs via calls, home visits, and facility visits, coordinating care, symptom management, and education after hours.

Qualifications

• Active Nursing License in MO/KS.
• Maintains CPR certification.
• At least 2–5 years of hospice/palliative care experience.
• Knowledge of hospice services provided to patients and families.
• Demonstrate organizational skills.
• Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication.
• Demonstrate analytical/problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrate high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and respond to patient/caregiver needs by phone, home visits or facility visits for assessment, symptom management, treatment, teaching and coordination of care.
