Job summary

Caris Healthcare in Saint Louis is seeking a Week Night On-Call Registered Nurse to provide hospice care to patients under physician orders. The On-Call RN will be scheduled for after-hours and weekend visits and may resolve issues by phone when appropriate.

You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate total patient care, and educate patients and families while coordinating with the care team. Salary ranges from $80,000 to $90,000 yearly, with benefits and a supportive work culture.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse licensed in the state of operation.
• Nursing experience required, with Hospice/Home Health preferred.
• Associate degree or higher in Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly on-call patient visits and after-hours/weekend care as assigned.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate total patient care per physician orders.
• Provide patient and family teaching and coordinate with care team.
