Job summary

AdamsPlace in Morristown, TN is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to support the Director of Nursing in coordinating all aspects of patient and family care within the hospice program. You will facilitate communication among staff, oversee scheduling and staffing, ensure policy and regulatory compliance, and assist in supervising care teams to deliver high-quality hospice services.

Salary is $74,000 to $78,000 per year, with pay based on experience, and the role requires strong leadership

Responsibilities

• Assist PCM with coordination of patient care aspects of the Hospice Program and the IDT.
• Ensure referral/admission process is completed within Caris HealthCare’s customer service standards.
• Assist PCM with assignment of patient care staff based on competency; monitor scheduling to provide 24-hour coverage.
• Assist PCM to ensure hospice nursing services are delivered in accordance with policies and standards.
• Assist PCM with supervision of reviews of patient records and daily activity reports for conformance with agency standards.
