Adoration Health in Chattanooga, TN, seeks a Director of Clinical Operations to lead hospice services Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm. You will oversee care delivery, support nursing supervisors, manage budgets and staffing, and ensure regulatory compliance while driving quality and compassionate end-of-life care.

The role emphasizes cross-functional leadership, staff development, and organizational policy planning in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing; RN licensure in the state.
• Three years of management experience in hospice or related health care.
• Knowledge of CHAP standards and regulations.

Responsabilités

• Oversee all patient care services provided by the hospice team.
• Support and advise nursing supervisors to improve patient care.
• Assist with patient care planning and evaluation as needed.
• Help prepare and manage the hospice budget.
• Monitor patient volume to adjust staffing and resources.
• Evaluate performance of nursing supervisors and teams.
• Hire, evaluate, and terminate staff.
• Conduct regular performance reviews for clinical staff.
• Ensure patient records meet legal requirements.
• Manage supplies and equipment for patient care.
• Develop and oversee training programs for new staff and ongoing education.
• Monitor and improve the quality and safety of hospice services.
• Set goals and create policies for the organization.
• Ensure compliance with laws and certification standards.
• Keep up with changes in hospice care and share updates with the team.
• Promote hospice services within the healthcare community.
• Serve as acting Executive Director when the main director is unavailable.

As a Director of Clinical Operations, You will:

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited program by the National League for Nursing. Master’s degree in hospice preferred.
• Three years of management experience in a hospice or related health care organization
• Registered nurse in the State with current licensure to practice professional nursing in the State .
• Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or Organization requirements and is in good working order.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct professional and administrative personnel.
• Ability to market and deal tactfully with customers and the community .
• Has excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of business management, governmental regulations and CHAP standards.
