Job summary

Unity Hospice is seeking a Nursing Operations Director to lead nursing services across Hospice & Palliative Care. This salaried, exempt role drives staffing strategy, workforce engagement, and operational performance while partnering with HR and facilities to advance organizational priorities.

The position schedules Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., with an on-call rotation and opportunities for leadership development and career growth within Unity.

Qualifications

• BSN and current RN license required.
• 2+ years in nursing leadership preferred.
• Experience with staffing strategy and workforce planning desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership of nursing operations across Hospice & Palliative Care.
• Lead Nurse Team Leaders to achieve operational and engagement goals.
• Establish caseload, productivity, staffing, and operational expectations.
• Monitor workforce trends and implement staffing models for quality care.
• Represent Unity in facility partnerships and community initiatives.
• Oversee budgeting, resource utilization, and cost-reduction opportunities.
