Caris HealthCare in Tennessee is seeking an RN Assistant Director of Nursing to coordinate hospice patient care with the Interdisciplinary Team, ensuring clear communication and service standards for terminally ill patients.

You will assist with staffing, training, and recruitment; supervise record reviews; arrange supportive services; and uphold safety plans and payor compliance. Salary ranges from $78,000 to $83,000 yearly based on experience.

Qualifications

Must be licensed as RN or LPN in the state of operation.
Minimum 1 year experience in hospice or related care.
Working knowledge of hospice program objectives and payor requirements preferred.
Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

Coordinate patient care aspects of the Hospice Program and IDT.
Ensure referral/admission processes meet service standards.
Assist with staffing assignments and scheduling.
Supervise reviews of patient records and daily activity reports for compliance with standards.
Arrange hospice and supportive services.
Recruit, hire, and train field staff.
Ensure compliance with safety and disaster plans.
Ensure staff training on occupational exposure.
Handle complaints and document follow-up per policy.
