Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking Hospice Nursing Aides to assist with personal care, bathing and daily hygiene for home-based hospice patients. You will support families by providing basic guidance on care routines and maintaining patient comfort and dignity in the home setting.

Work is performed in patients' homes in Alabama. You will cooperate with supervising RNs to monitor progression and adapt care plans as needed, requiring a valid driver license and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid state driver license.
• Must maintain automobile liability insurance as required by law.
• Must maintain dependable transportation in good working condition.
• Must be able to safely drive an automobile in all types of weather conditions.
• Must complete training, competency evaluation in compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Must possess CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care tasks for hospice patients, including bathing and dressing.
• Support families by instructing care routines.
• Coordinate with supervising RNs on patient progress.
