Job summary

PeaceHealth is seeking a RN Nurse Team Lead - Hospice House for a Per Diem/Relief, 0.00 FTE, Day position. The Team Lead provides professional nursing care in a hospice unit and leads a team under Hospice leadership to assure optimal patient care.

The role requires independent decision making, staff coordination, scheduling, and ongoing quality improvement while supporting patients and families. Salary range is $50.03 – $87.23 hourly, with pay dependent on education, experience, and bargaining

Qualifications

• Active RN license and BLS certification at hire.
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience; leadership experience preferred.
• Driver's license and proof of insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Assigns work and manages priorities to ensure quality care.
• Directs patient care activities and staffing for optimal outcomes.
• Mentors staff and supports hospital policies and quality initiatives.
• Documents care in the chart and ensures regulatory standards.
