Job summary

AccentCare Inc. is hiring a Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) in Connecticut. You’ll work within an interdisciplinary team, delivering compassionate end-of-life care with autonomy and strong organizational support.

Pay ranges from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, based on experience, with a robust benefits package including medical, dental, vision, PTO, holidays, and 401(k). Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, serving Madison, Clinton, Old Saybrook, Essex, Deep River, and nearby towns.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state of practice.
• At least one year of nursing experience.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and appropriate auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care that maximizes comfort and quality of life.
• Partner with patients, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary group to create and carry out care plans.
• Perform comprehensive assessments—physical, emotional, social, and spiritual—to guide care decisions.
• Educate and support patients and caregivers, meeting them where they are.
• Coordinate care across disciplines to ensure continuity and dignity.
• Document care clearly and accurately to reflect patient needs and progress.
• Participate in on‑call or admission rotations as needed.
• Engage in ongoing learning and professional development.
