Job summary

Bristol Hospice Fresno is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses to join our after-hours/night shift team in Fresno, CA. You will provide hospice care, perform after-hours visits, coordinate with DPCS and case managers, and support families during critical moments.

This role requires RN licensure in good standing, hospice knowledge, and the ability to work Friday-Sunday 10am-9pm with the hourly pay range of $49.00 to $51.00.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with hospice knowledge.
• Current RN licensure in good standing.
• Flexible hours and willingness to respond after hours as needed.
• Strong computer data entry and software use skills.

Responsibilities

• Will perform after hours and weekend visits and admissions as needed.
• Follow up on phone calls by directing to appropriate RN staff or handling immediately per scope of practice.
• Dispatch field nurses and other staff to patient residences in a timely manner.
• Refill prescriptions, order supplies and DME, and assist coordination for patients and families.
• Document calls and outcomes in the call-in software system.
• Receive start-of-shift reports and give end-of-shift reports per location workflow.
• All other duties as assigned.
