Job summary

Residential Home Health and Hospice is seeking a Music Therapist to provide compassionate, patient-centered care in home hospice settings. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver therapeutic music services that promote comfort, emotional support, and quality of life for patients and families.

The role requires MT-BC certification, a Bachelor of Music Therapy, and eligibility for state licensure where required, with ~20% travel to patient homes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Music Therapy degree.
• Current MT-BC credential.
• State licensing where required.
• At least six months of experience with geriatric health care.
• At least six months of experience with end-of-life care.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel ~20% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered music therapy in hospice care.

• Work independently but never alone

Music Therapist Qualifications

• Bachelor of Music Therapy degree
• Current Board certified (MT-BC) credential according to U. S. Certification Board for Music Therapists
• State music therapy licensing where required
• At least six (6) months of work/education experience with geriatric health care
• At least six (6) months of work /education experience with end-of-life/terminal illness health care
• Current driver’s license and ability to spend ~20% of your day driving to/from patient locations
