Job summary

Franciscan Alliance is seeking a dedicated Massage Therapist to provide relief and relaxation to hospice patients in their homes 90% of the time, with 10% at the Hospice House in Indianapolis. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Massage Therapist license/certification required.
• CPR certification required within 90 days of hire.
• First Aid certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Massage Therapy License/Certificate from a recognized school required.
• Minimum 1 year massage experience required.

Responsibilities

• See Hospice patients in their homes 90% of the time; 10% at Hospice House.
• Travel across Marion, Hendricks, Morgan, Johnson and portions of Shelby & Hancock counties.
• Accurately document and maintain client records and department paperwork promptly.
• Clean, organize, and disinfect work area after treatment.
• Assess patients’ soft tissue condition and develop a treatment plan.
• Communicate with patients about medical histories and pain; answer questions.
• Perform therapeutic massage in various modalities to aid medical conditions.
