Job summary

Heart to Heart Hospice in Indiana is seeking a licensed Massage Therapist to provide compassionate therapy to patients under an IDG plan of care. You will deliver massage sessions, educate family and staff on therapy goals, and document outcomes.

The role requires active registration in Indiana, at least one year of massage experience, reliable transportation, and the ability to work with limited supervision. EMR experience is a plus, and travel is minimal.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Massage Therapist in the state of employment.
• Minimum of one year of massage therapy experience; preferably in healthcare.
• Therapy skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice.
• Self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision.
• Must have current driver's license.
• Experience with EMR software is a plus.
• Must have reliable transportation and provide ongoing valid and current auto liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide massage therapy to patients according to the written IDG plan of care.
• Initiate massage therapy programs and instruct other staff and family members on these programs and goals.
• Perform assessments, evaluations and establish therapeutic and functional goals for clients.
• Advise RN Case Manager on the patient’s response to therapy or changes in condition.
• Promote Agency philosophy to ensure quality of care.
• Timely submission of all documentation.
• Perform other duties as required.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws, Medicare regulations, and personnel policies.
