Job summary

Affinity Hospice Management LLC is seeking a licensed Massage Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team. You will assess patients, develop a plan of care, and provide massage therapy in alignment with the care plan, addressing comfort needs across settings, including home and facilities.

The role requires Ohio licensure, graduation from an accredited massage school, and at least one year of healthcare massage experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a credentialed school of Massage Therapy.
• Licensed in Ohio as a Licensed Massage Therapist.
• Minimum of one year massage therapy experience in healthcare.
• Oncology Massage Therapy Certification or ability to obtain is a plus.
• Excellent observation, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated team-building capability.
• Autonomy with integrity and strong communication.
• Physical ability for extensive activity and material handling.
• Must be a licensed driver with insured vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Monitors patient outcomes for massage therapy services.
• Coordinates care across settings including SNFs, assisted living, and home settings.
• Provides massage therapy per patient plan of care.
• Participates in interdisciplinary group meetings to determine therapeutic objectives.
• Documents therapy in EMR accurately and timely.
• Educates patients and families about massage therapy benefits.
• Maintains safety and infection control policies.
