Job summary

Affinity Hospice Management LLC is seeking an experienced Medical Director to provide overall medical direction for our hospice program in Florida. You will oversee physician services, ensure Medicare compliance, and champion high‑quality patient care across the interdisciplinary team.

The role requires leadership of QAPI initiatives, education of clinicians, and active collaboration with physicians and staff to optimize symptom management and care planning.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice medicine in Florida.
• Board certification in Hospice and Palliative Care preferred.
• Active DEA registration and authority to prescribe.
• Experience in hospice or palliative care.
• Ability to lead and participate in an interdisciplinary care team.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall medical direction for the hospice program.
• Oversee physician services and ensure continuity of hospice care.
• Ensure compliance with Medicare Conditions of Participation and regulations.
• Lead and participate in Interdisciplinary Group meetings and committees.
• Develop and monitor quality improvement and education programs for staff.
• Act as liaison with physicians, discharge planners, and referral sources.
