Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care in Concord, NH is seeking an experienced Hospice Medical Director to lead our hospice team. You will collaborate with the interdisciplinary group, oversee medical policies, and drive clinical excellence with physician recruitment and education.

The role focuses on quality client care, compliance with Medicare regulations, and strengthening relationships with local physicians and hospitals to expand access to hospice services.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice medicine or osteopathy in appropriate state(s).
• Has valid DEA registration and ability to prescribe.
• Minimum of two years clinical experience; supervisory exp preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; ability to work with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hospice medical operations and collaborate with IDG and physicians.
• Certify and recertify hospice client eligibility and ensure plans of care meet regulations.
• Recruit, supervise, and evaluate physicians and nurse practitioners; provide medical leadership.
• Develop relationships with local physicians and communities to improve access to hospice services.
• Maintain documentation per Medicare/Medicaid regulations and BAYADA policies.
• Participate in on-call rotation and hospice quality improvement initiatives.
