Job summary

Volt is seeking Remote Hospice Medical Coders to join their team. In this full-time role, you will analyze medical records, identify documentation deficiencies, and support other coding staff. Qualifications

As a HospiceMedical Coderyou will:



Analyze medical records and identifydocumentation deficiencies. You will serveas resource and subject matter expert to other coding staff. You willreviewand verifydocumentation, supportdiagnoses, procedures, and treatment results.



This is afull timeopportunity.



The ideal candidate will have:



  • Proven work experience as a Medical Coder or similar role
  • Three years of Hospice Medical Coding experience.
  • Previous hands on technical support experience preferred
  • Solid understanding of billing software and electronic medical records
  • Proven experience troubleshooting Meditech and other billing software
  • Must have the ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding problem-solving and organizational abilities
  • 3+ years’ experience
  • MEDITECH Expanse experience required


Pay Rate:$28.00- $36.00 per hour



*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
