Brighten Life Home Health and Hospice in St. George is seeking a licensed Massage Therapist to support hospice patients at home and in care facilities. This PRN role focuses on comfort, pain relief, and quality of life within an interdisciplinary hospice team.

You will assess needs, design care plans, and document outcomes while maintaining sanitation standards. Flexible scheduling, travel within the service area, and collaboration with nurses and physicians are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
• Valid and current massage therapy license/certification as required by state law.
• Minimum of five years of therapeutic massage experience preferred, with hospice/palliative/geriatric/medical massage desired.

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional massage and body treatments according to hospice protocols and accepted certification practices.
• Assess, evaluate, and establish individualized massage therapy plans aligned with the plan of care.
• Provide comfort touch massage in patients' homes, hospice facilities, or care settings.
• Communicate and collaborate with the interdisciplinary hospice team to ensure patient-centered care.
• Educate patients and families about massage therapy benefits and limitations for symptom management and comfort.
• Uphold sanitation, sterilization, and safety standards in all interactions.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatments and observations in patient records.
• Travel to patient sites within the assigned service area as needed.
