Job summary

Heart to Heart Hospice is seeking a dedicated Massage Therapist to provide compassionate therapy to patients under an established IDG plan of care. The role involves coordinating with the patient’s care team and family to implement individualized goals.

The ideal candidate holds a current Massage Therapist license, has at least one year of experience, and can work with minimal supervision while maintaining meticulous documentation and compliance with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Massage Therapist in the state of employment.
• Minimum of one year of massage therapy experience; preferably in healthcare.
• Therapy skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice.
• Self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision.
• Must have current driver's license.
• Experience with EMR software is a plus.
• Must have reliable transportation and provide ongoing valid auto liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide massage therapy to patients according to the written IDG plan of care.
• Initiate massage therapy programs and instruct other staff and family on these programs and goals.
• Perform assessments, evaluations and establish therapeutic and functional goals for clients.
• Advise RN Case Manager on patient’s response to therapy or changes in condition.
• Promote agency philosophy to ensure quality of care.
• Timely submission of all documentation.
• Perform other duties as required.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws, Medicare regulations, and personnel policies.
