Job summary

The role requires Ohio licensure, a credentialed massage therapy education, and at least one year of healthcare massage experience. Oncology massage certification is a plus; travel to various care settings may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of a credentialed massage therapy program.
• Licensed in Ohio as a Massage Therapist.
• Minimum one year of massage therapy experience in healthcare.
• Oncology massage certification preferred or obtainable.
• Strong communication, teamwork and autonomous work ability.
• Ability to perform required physical activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide massage therapy per patient care plan and address comfort needs.
• Monitor patient outcomes and coordinate care across settings.
• Document visits promptly in the EMR.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary group to set therapeutic goals.
• Educate patients and families about massage therapy benefits.
• Maintain safe environment and comply with HIPAA and regulations.
• Support program growth by engaging staff and referral sources.
