Job summary

Ascend Hospice & Palliative Care MA is hiring a Hospice Marketing Liaison in Worcester, MA. You will develop referrals by cultivating relationships with physicians, hospitals, SNFs, and other community resources.

The role includes presenting to referral sources and promoting Ascend's hospice philosophy and services. The position requires travel and strong communication skills, with a focus on community education and program participation to increase patient admissions and awareness of our care

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Experience in marketing, preferably hospice or healthcare.
• Willing to travel.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-starter with ability to create leads.

Responsibilities

• Generate business by building and maintaining relationships with physicians and other referral sources.
• Prepare and conduct calls and in-service presentations to referral sources.
• Participate in community programs and deliver presentations to promote Ascend’s services.
• Promote patient privacy, dignity and well-being in all interactions.
• Foster positive public relations with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
• Support and promote the Hospice philosophy within the medical community.
