Job summary

Comfort Hospice Care in the United States is seeking a Hospice Liaison to build relationships with physicians, hospitals, and referral sources, educating them about hospice services and guiding families through the referral and admission process.

As a trusted community resource, you will document outreach activities, collaborate with care teams, and promote dignity, comfort, and quality end-of-life care while advancing growth for the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of healthcare marketing experience; hospice experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and public relations skills.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining a compassionate, patient-first approach.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to meet outreach goals.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and other referral sources.
  • Educate healthcare professionals and community groups about hospice services and benefits.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable, compassionate resource for patients and families during the referral and admission process.
  • Document outreach activities and maintain accurate records of interactions.
  • Ensure all messaging reflects commitment to dignity, comfort, and quality care.
  • Collaborate with care coordination teams to support smooth transitions for patients.
  • Monitor community needs and identify opportunities to improve access to hospice care.
