Job summary

Paylocity in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for hospice/home health support under an interdisciplinary team. You will provide direct palliative care following a plan of care, under RN supervision, and contribute to comfort and patient-family support.

The role emphasizes compassionate communication, documentation accuracy, and adherence to state nursing laws. Minimum NV LPN license, CPR/BLS, and background check required; prior hospice/home health experience preferred;

Qualifications

• Must be currently licensed as an LPN in Nevada.
• Prefer 1 year of hospice, home health, or geriatric care.
• Background check, pre-employment drug screen, TB testing, and references required.
• CPR/First Aid certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct palliative care under RN supervision.
• Deliver compassionate patient and family support.
• Follow the individualized Plan of Care established by the interdisciplinary team.
• Document care accurately and timely in charting systems.
• Perform nursing tasks including medication management and IV care if certified.
• Assist with wound care, vital signs, and transfers as needed.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and ensure safety.
