Job summary

Bristol Hospice is seeking an LPN/LVN to join our St. Louis team for full-time, day-shift care. You will provide direct patient care, implement the care plan, and educate families in a compassionate hospice setting.

The role requires an active LPN/LVN license in Missouri, at least three years of nursing experience (hospice or med/surg preferred), and flexibility in work hours. We offer tuition reimbursement, PTO, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must currently be licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state.
• Must have at least three years of nursing experience; hospice or med/surg preferred.
• Understand the hospice philosophy and needs of terminally ill patients.
• Be flexible with work hours and shifts.
• Willingness to maintain knowledge of information systems and software used in our practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as defined by the State Nurse Practice Act.
• Implement current nursing practice based on assessments and the care plan.
• Document patient services accurately and timely.
• Educate patients and families about diagnosis and self-care.
• Coordinate hospice services with interdisciplinary team.
• Use and prepare equipment adhering to aseptic technique.
• Manage pain and symptoms effectively.
• Contribute to quality improvement activities.
