Job summary

Envhhwa is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Hospice Care Team in Washington. This full-time role offers competitive compensation of $36 - $42.50/hour and includes benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with a company match, and paid time off.

The LPN will provide skilled nursing care, educate families, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality end-of-life care for patients. Previous hospice experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to hospice patients in accordance with physician orders, hospice policies, and regulatory standards
• Administer medications, monitor patient conditions, and document care accurately
• Educate patients and families on care plans, symptom management, and comfort measures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary hospice team members, including RNs, social workers, and hospice aides, to support patient care goals
• Respond promptly to patient and family needs, including symptom management and urgent care situations
• Maintain compliance with state regulations, company policies, and Medicare guidelines
• Participate in weekend on-call rotation

Requirements

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Washington
• Active BLS certification
• Previous hospice, home health, or palliative care experience strongly preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage evening patient caseloads
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
