Job summary

Ashealthnet is seeking a General Inpatient Registered Nurse, Hospice to provide end-of-life care in our inpatient hospice setting in Indianapolis, IN. The role emphasizes compassionate, holistic care and family support, aligned with agency standards and Medicare guidelines.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license in Indiana, with 3+ years inpatient experience, preferably in hospice. A Bachelor's in Nursing is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in state of employment.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum 3 years inpatient clinical experience, preferably hospice.

Responsibilities

• Plan of Care: implement care to achieve comfortable and dignified end-of-life outcomes.
• Family Educator/Advocate: support patient and family respecting beliefs and facilitate death/disposition protocols.
• Policies: complete clinical documentation per agency and Medicare guidelines.
• Communication: coordinate with referral sources and multidisciplinary team for smooth transitions.
• Operations: attend interdisciplinary team meetings and evaluate patient/family needs.
