Job summary

Qualifications

• ADN and/or BSN from an accredited institution.
• Two years of nursing experience, or equivalent education/experience.
• Proficient with EMR; knowledge of infection control; strong time management and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing and supportive care for terminally ill patients and their families.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop patient-directed plans of care.
• Consult with attending physician as needed and monitor patient responses.
• Educate patients and families to maintain quality of care and independence.
• Document care accurately and timely in patient records.
• Supervise Patient Care Partners, unit staff, and volunteers as needed.
