Job summary

Lorian Health Las Vegas Hospice is hiring a Certified Home Health Aide to provide compassionate in-home care under RN/therapist supervision in Las Vegas, NV. You will assist with activities of daily living and monitoring patient wellbeing in a safe home setting.

Responsibilities include bathing, dressing, nutrition support, vital signs, range-of-motion activities, medication assistance, and maintaining clean, respectful, and comfortable environments for patients.

Qualifications

• Meets state-required education/experience for HHAs.
• Active state certification/licensure in good standing.
• Able to read and follow written instructions and document clearly.
• Current CPR certification; self-directed with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, and shampoos.
• Change bed linens and assist with dressing.
• Provide skin care and prevent breakdown.
• Support toileting and in-home cleanliness; meals and feeding assistance as needed.
• Take and record vitals within training limits; assist with ROM and exercises.
• Assist with self-administration of medications; maintain a safe home environment.

About the Opportunity

We’re seeking a compassionate Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide personal care and support to patients in their homes. You’ll work under the supervision of an RN or therapist and help ensure safe, high‑quality, and consistent care.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, and shampoos
• Change bed linens; help with dressing/undressing
• Provide skin care and prevent skin breakdown
• Support toileting and in‑home cleanliness
• Plan and prepare meals; assist with feeding if needed
• Take and record vitals (temperature, pulse, respirations, blood pressure per training limits
• Assist with ambulation and exercises per plan of care
• Perform range‑of‑motion and simple therapy‑related activities (within training limits)
• Assist with self‑administration of medications
• Wash patient laundry, as appropriate
• Maintain a safe environment and use equipment properly

Required Qualifications

• Meets state‑required education/experience for HHAs
• Active state certification/licensure in good standing
• Strong physical stamina and mental health
• Able to read and follow written instructions, capable of accurate documentation
• Self‑directed and able to work with minimal supervision
• Current CPR certification
• Flexible, patient, professional, and maintains excellent personal hygiene

This position is based on a Pay per visit compensation model.

Pay per visit ranges from $22 to $27 visit commensurate with experience and depending on type of visit.
