Job summary

Valley Home Health Care Inc is seeking a compassionate Certified Home Health Aide to join our Las Vegas team. You will provide in-home care, assist with daily living activities, and support patients to live independently at home.

Responsibilities include personal care, mobility assistance, health monitoring, nutrition, light housekeeping, and companionship. Valid CHHA in NV and CPR/First Aid are required or pursued. Background checks and a reliable vehicle are preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification in Nevada.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Prior experience in home health, personal care, or related healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support.
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure safety and comfort.
• Monitor and document patient health status, reporting changes to supervising nursing staff.
• Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition and hydration for clients.
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe home environment.
• Administer medication reminders and assist with prescribed exercises or therapy routines.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to promote client well-being.
