Job summary

Superior Hospice in Minnesota seeks an on-call RN to support hospice patients on a 7 on / 7 off schedule. You will respond to after-hours needs across the Twin Cities Metro, perform urgent visits, and manage symptoms with compassionate care.

Active Minnesota RN license is required; hospice experience is preferred. You’ll work evenings and overnights with top‑of‑license independence and full support from an interdisciplinary hospice team.

Qualifications

• Active Minnesota RN license required.
• Hospice experience preferred; ICU/ER/oncology/palliative care and home health nurses encouraged.
• Strong assessment, triage and independent clinical decision making.
• Evenings and overnights on a 7 On / 7 Off schedule.

Responsibilities

• Respond to after-hours patient needs across the Twin Cities Metro.
• Perform urgent hospice visits, comprehensive assessments, and symptom management.
• Provide pain management, medication administration, and end-of-life nursing care.
• Guide families through changing conditions with confidence and compassion.
• Collaborate with physicians and the hospice team while documenting care in the EMR.

Job Title: Hospice On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) | 7 On / 7 Off

Company: Superior Hospice , part of the Home Health Care, Inc. family

Compensation: $54.09-$78.13/hour for active visit time + $5.10-$12.00/hour beeper pay

Schedule: 7 Days On / 7 Days Off | Evening & Overnight On-Call
