Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking Hospice Nursing Aides to assist patients with daily personal care, dressing and grooming, while maintaining comfort and dignity in home settings.

Responsibilities include collaborating with supervising registered nurses, updating care plans, and supporting families in caring for terminally ill loved ones. A valid driver license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Must meet one of the following: one year of direct client care in an institutional setting or home health/hospice in the last five years.
• Must be registered and listed in good standing on the nurse aide registry in the state of employment.
• Must have basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.

Responsibilities

• Assist hospice patients with personal care tasks such as bathing, linen changes, dressing, and grooming.
• Coordinate with supervising RNs and hospice team to communicate patient progress and family needs.

Responsibilities

Our HospiceNursing Aidesassist with various personal care issues including changing bedding, changing clothing, bathing hospice patients, and helping with hygienic routines such as brushing teeth, washing hair and keeping wound dressings clean and dry.Our Hospice Nursing Aidesmay assist patients' family members in caring for their terminally ill relatives by instructing them on how to go about performing basic health‑care routines. Nursing Aides consult on a regular basis withtheir supervising registered nurses in terms of keeping hospice team members apprised ofour patients' progression and the families' needs.

Qualifications

• Must meet one of the following requirements. 1) have a minimum of one year full time experience in direct client care in an institutional setting (hospital or nursing facility); 2) have one year experience within the last five years in direct client care in a home health or hospice setting.


• Must be registered and listed in good standing on the nurse aide registry in the state of employment.


• Must have basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.
