Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a Hospice Nursing Aide to assist with personal care tasks for hospice patients in home settings. You will work closely with supervising RNs to ensure patient comfort and progress.

Qualifications

• Must be registered and in good standing on the nurse aide registry in the state of employment.
• Must have basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.

Responsibilities

• Assist hospice patients with personal care tasks (bedding, clothing, bathing, hygiene) and wound care as directed.

Responsibilities

Our HospiceNursing Aidesassist with various personal care issues including changing bedding, changing clothing, bathing hospice patients, and helping with hygienic routines such as brushing teeth, washing hair and keeping wound dressings clean and dry.Our Hospice Nursing Aidesmay assist patients' family members in caring for their terminally ill relatives by instructing them on how to go about performing basic health‑care routines. Nursing Aides consult on a regular basis withtheir supervising registered nurses in terms of keeping hospice team members apprised ofour patients' progression and the families' needs.

Qualifications

• Must meet one of the following requirements. 1) have a minimum of one year full time experience in direct client care in an institutional setting (hospital or nursing facility); 2) have one year experience within the last five years in direct client care in a home health or hospice setting.


• Must be registered and listed in good standing on the nurse aide registry in the state of employment.


• Must have basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.
