Job summary
Agape Hospice Care in Bethlehem, GA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our compassionate hospice team. The CNA will provide personal healthcare and related home-based services, assist in creating a safe and clean environment, and work closely with patients and families under the supervision of a registered nurse.
Requirements include state-approved nurse aide training, a current CNA license, a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and at least one year of hospice
Qualifications
- High School Diploma Preferred.
- Has Nurse aide training/competency program approved by the state and listed in good standing on the state nurse aide registry; or State Licensure program that meets requirements.
- Must have CNA license.
- Must have current driver’s license.
- At least one year experience, preferred, as a Hospice Aide or Nursing Assistant in a hospital, nursing home, home health agency, hospice, or long-term care facility.
- Reliable transportation. Valid and current auto liability insurance.
Responsibilities
- Primary function is to provide personal healthcare and related services to the patient in their place of residence; to assist in providing a safe and clean environment, work cooperatively with patient and family and share observations and problems with the supervisor.
- Works under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.
