Job summary

Agape Hospice Care in Woodstock, GA is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our hospice team. The primary function is to provide personal healthcare and related services to patients in their homes, ensuring safety and comfort under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Qualifications include CNA license, state-approved nurse aide training, current driver's license, reliable transportation, and ideally 1 year of hospice or nursing assistant experience.

Qualifications

High School Diploma Preferred
Has successfully completed Nurse aide training/competency program approved by the state and listed in good standing on the state nurse aide registry
Must have CNA license
Must have current driver’s license
At least one year experience, preferred, as a Hospice Aide or Nursing Assistant in a hospital, nursing home, home health agency, hospice, or long-term care facility.
Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Primary function is to provide personal healthcare and related services to the patient in their place of residence; to assist in providing a safe and clean environment, work cooperatively with patient and family and share observations and problems with the supervisor. Works under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.
