Job summary

McLaren Health Care in Michigan is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide to join the Hospice team. Working under direct supervision, you will deliver essential in-home care to ill, elderly, and disabled patients, helping them maintain comfort and dignity in their own homes.

You will perform personal care tasks, monitor vital signs, assist with transfers and positioning, and support basic activities of daily living.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• State of Michigan CNA Certification is required.
• BLS certification within first week of hire.
• Valid driver’s license with proof of auto insurance and a driving record per policy.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care of a patient, including bathing, grooming/hygiene, and toileting.
• Takes and records daily vital signs; reports readings outside the normal range.
• Assists patients with positioning/turning, transfers, catheter care, and range of motion exercises.
