Job summary

McLaren Health Care in Michigan is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide full-time home health care to patients across the agency’s network. You will initiate skilled nursing visits, assess patient needs, teach care plans, and coordinate with physicians under the supervision of the Clinical Services Supervisor.

The role emphasizes comprehensive patient education, timely documentation, and adherence to agency standards. A valid Michigan RN license and driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Michigan.
• Minimum of one to two years of med/surg, critical care or demonstrated experience in a specialty area.
• Current Michigan driver’s license and proof of valid automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Initiates and provides medically prescribed skilled nursing care and/or health counseling.
• Makes the initial visit to assess the patient’s physical and emotional status, needs, and resources.
• Prepares the nursing plan of care and provides patient teaching using the Care Plan/Standard of Care.
