Job summary

HopeWest in Delta, CO is seeking a Hospice Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) for a Mon–Fri 8am–5pm schedule, 40 hours per week. A $4,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

CNAs provide personal care under RN supervision and work with an interdisciplinary team to support patients and families during aging, illness, and grief. The role requires Colorado CNA licensure, a valid driver’s license, and strong compassion and communication skills for coordinated care.

Qualifications

• Current Colorado CNA license is required.
• Valid Colorado driver’s license, automobile insurance and reliable transportation if providing care in the community setting.
• Genuine spirit of caring and compassion; effective communication in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to patients under supervision of the Registered Nurse.

CNA's for Hospice are responsible for providing personal cares to our patients. Our CNA's meet the needs of our patients under the supervision of the Registered Nurse. They are part of the interdisciplinary team that all work together to create a one-of a kind experience for our patients and their families.

The schedule is primarily Mon‑Fri 8am‑5pm with occasional on‑call/weekend coverage.

What You Bring:

• Current Colorado CNA License
• Valid Colorado Driver’s license, adequate automobile insurance and reliable transportation, if providing care in the community setting
• A genuine spirit of caring and compassion
• Effective communication and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team

• Competitive pay starting at $20.00-22.13 per hour for CNA’s with more than 6 months experience, $18.50 per hour for less than 6 months with increase after 6mths is met.
