Job summary

Gentiva Hospice is seeking a dependable Hospice Aide (CNA) in Kansas to provide compassionate, hands‑on care in patients' homes, assisted living facilities, or inpatient units. You will support activities of daily living, monitor well‑being, and offer emotional encouragement to patients and families during end‑of‑life care.

Qualified candidates hold an active CNA license in Kansas, current CPR certification, a valid driver's license with reliable vehicle, and at least 6 months of direct patient

Qualifications

• Active CNA license in the state of employment is required.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Six months of direct patient care experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct personal care to terminally ill patients.
• Assist with personal hygiene, grooming, and toileting.
• Support safe mobility with walkers and wheelchairs.
• Help with meal preparation, feeding, and light housekeeping.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition.
• Offer emotional support to patients and families.
• Maintain accurate documentation of visits.
• Attend team meetings and participate in QI activities.
