Job summary

Suncrest Hospice in Illinois is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide resident care under the supervision of a Case Manager/DON. You will follow care plans, document care activities, and work closely with nurses, social workers, chaplains, and other teammates to ensure comfort and safety.

Requirements include a valid CNA certification, 18+ years, and a willingness to drive with reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state(s) of practice.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Willing to drive with reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Ability to work well within a team, coordinating daily with nurses, social workers, chaplains, volunteers and leadership.
• Commitment to improving quality of life for residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care under the direction of a Case Manager/DON and nursing management.
• Coordinate with licensed care staff to implement care plans and safety guidelines.
• Follow all nursing policies and procedures and company guidelines.
